This recipe is adapted from the corn meal bag. These were great muffins.
1 cup corn meal 1 cup flour 4 T sugar 4 t baking powder 1/2 t salt 1 cup milk 1 egg 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Matt prefers a softer bread, so I brushed his with the melted butter. I like crusty, so left mine alone.
Keep an eye on the dough as it forms in the bread machine to determine exactly how much flour . . .

I made a couple changes to Marian's recipe:
1) I used part whole wheat flour
2) I halved the recipe and only made one loaf
3) I let it sit all day to raise
This was incredible: chewy crust . . .

Since I used buttermilk instead of water, the final loaf was soft rather than chewy as most Ciabattas are due to them usually calling for water.
